Gently wipe the switch plate, the switch itself, and the surrounding wall area where fingers often land. A quick pass with a dry microfiber cloth afterward helps prevent streaks and leaves the surface looking polished.

For households with lots of activity, kids running in and out, frequent cooking, or guests visiting, doing this simple wipe down once a week can make a noticeable difference. It only takes a few seconds per switch but helps maintain a cleaner overall environment.
